Cancellation and drinks

Dear Friends of London Italians,

Due to unforeseen circumstances of the weather this week, we regret to say that we have had to cancel the Anglo Italian Cup Tournament at Barnes tomorrow the 7th February.

HOWEVER...

We have organised some Food and Drinks prior to the game at Twickenham, At Harlequins Rugby Club (5 mins walk from the Stadium). We will be situated in the car park

10 days to go

It's 10 days to go before the 1st Anglo Italian Rugby Cup wil take places.

The work behind it is big and the commitment is strong. Many people are now interested in participating at the event.

The Highlights will be the Prize Cerimony with the Awards Presented by former italian international Massimo Giovanelli and Filippo Fratis, who has already show his attachment to the cause.

The Cerimony is sponsored by Club Sociale Italiano di Finchley and Terzo Tempo offered by Giuseppe's Ristorante in London Bridge.

A great dinner - a nice reccomandation

On December 6th few members of London Italian gathered together for the Christmas dinner, a nice event for the guys after having fought so hard on the pitch to get top of the table.

The dinner was held at Giuseppe Restaurant in London Bridge, who's now one of our favourites food makers, and first supporter.

If you in London and are angry. go there. tell him you are our friend. he will treat you well.

LONDON ITALIAN TOP OF THE TABLE

After 8 games in the MIDDLESEX MERIT TABLE, London Italian Rugby find themselves at sitting at the top of the table, with 7 victorys and the best point difference.

EVen with a bit of delay in updating the blog, i'm proud to announce tha CUS VERONA RUGBY have confirmed their presence at the tounamnet.

On the 13th of January the first game will be announced, along with the Special Guest.

A former italian internationl plays with London Italian

On Saturday the 8th of November, Filippo Frati, former italian scrum half, joined the London Italian for a bit of fun on the paddock giving precious advices to the young team

The tournament will take place at
Barnes Elms Playing Field, in Barnes Richmond.

The gorund can easily be reached via train, by getting of at Barnes Station
The gorund can easily be reached by tube (hammersmith) and bus.
